WHY? is here to explain the reason behind the creation of this shrine. It's time to get personal!

To get right down to it, I love the SailormoonR Movie, perhaps more than any of the episodes I have ever seen. This is probably due to the fact that it was the very first time I had seen Sailormoon in Japanese way back in 1995. I had just bought a whole bunch of fansubs with my best friend and this was the first one we popped into the VCR. Needless to say, this movie made a huge impression upon me. It was my transcendence from English dubbed to subtitled Sailormoon anime. I was hooked.

There's more to it of course. Anyone who has seen this movie and loves Sailormoon could tell you why. There is so much emotion, romance, and drama contained within. The music is powerful and the story is simple, yet very deep. Friendship, jealousy, love, forgiveness, and redemption; it's all here.
